- I came to Canada from London with a heavy heart and 2 suitcases 5 years ago. I’m about to leave with 2 children, a Frenchman and very little in savings, in search of a place to bring up our family. Having made the decision to leave over a bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape in the early hours of new years day 2010, we promptly booked 4 one-way tickets to London and sent out 127 resumes to companies all over Europe. As I start this blog we have 6 weeks to pack our life into 4 suitcases and start our new life. Somewhere.
