- I'm a 41-year-old, stay-at-home mom who, at one time or another, has written for a newspaper, produced a news show, fed rats, dissected chickens, photographed pregnant women, written children's books, and gotten the current president elected. I've been married for 13 years to "Tenzin," an ER doctor who'd rather be a gardener. One son, "Newt" (7). One daughter, "Elfie" (5). And one large dog, "Uno" (11), that gets more attention than the kids. I blog about my no-longer-autistic son, my fashion "forward" hippie daughter, my dead mother, and my chronic pain issues that may end up killing me if the rest of the family doesn't get tired of my antics and beat it to the punch.
