Life Changes I Wish I’d Made Sooner

By the time I turned 25, I was sure my life was a single-lane highway.

A single-lane highway with no exits. As far as I was concerned, I was headed in the same direction, with no…

There’s something about the summer that brings out the fun in kids. Long summer days without any thought of school foster the type of carefree living children relish every year. The only bad thing about the summer is it can go by really fast. As parents, it is important to…

You know that whole name game where you take your middle name and your dog’s name and make a new name? Yep, that’s Zoe Watson. I am Zoe Watson.

Cast of Characters:

Me: In real life I’m Patty Gordon. Because I have had such an adventurous life up until now I could write all day about who I am. For now here is a short list: Daughter. Army Brat. Retired College Basketball Player. Wanna-Be Romance Novelist. Semi-Famous Fanfiction Writer. Retired Spontaneous Roadtrip/Travel Nut/Sometimes “Band-aid”. (Only 5 states left to hit all 50!). Wife to Hubby since 2009. Mother of two. Obsessive Crocheter. Etsy Store Owner. Avid Runner (Half Marathon/15k/10k/5k). Former Beachbody Coach. Newish Mommy Blogger.
What is your blogging philosophy?
Of course it’s great to have a place to rant and rave and share my insights on life (from the carpool lane, as advertised). This site is written with those isolated stay at home moms or even working moms who might not fully identify with all the other mother’s that they encounter at storytime, the park and at school in mind.

You are not alone.

That smart phone in your hand, or computer in the corner is your lifeline to someone else just like you!
I have been blogging since...
I've had various websites for over 13+ years, but just now have focused more on mommy topics in 2016.

I’m so glad that I did!

When the routine of brushing my daughter’s hair in the…

Early bird gets the worm…

I don’t know what it is about this gym, but I really like it there.  The lady who seems to be in charge was there alone when we arrived early for class and I talked to her about Martial Arts a little since we had time.

With that time I immediately asked some…
