Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
I'm a hearing impaired mom of 3 kids. My daughter and I both have bilateral cochlear implants to help us hear. My journey helping her to speak led me to start HearingExchange.com, a blog and website with resources, news, articles and more for adults and parents dealing with hearing loss. In addition to blogging, I write syndicated articles and speak to groups about hearing loss, cochlear implants and parenting a deaf child.
What is your blogging philosophy?
I believe that blogging should be thought-provoking, informative and interactive.
I have been blogging since...
before blogging was coined. HearingExchange was started in 2000.

Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
