Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
My name is Penny. Also known as Savvy Miami Mom. I am a freebie fanatic, shopping addict, that is always looking for a great deal. I am a full-time homemaker living in Miami, FL with my wonderful husband of 22 years and my two beautiful daughters. I have turned to blogging since being diagnosed with several different chronic illnesses. I was diagnosed with Epilepsy in 2003. Then in 2008 being diagnosed with Mitral Valve Disorder. After several years dealing with these illnesses, I started having severe pain in my joints and was diagnosed with Lupus in 2012. It was such a shock. Eventually I started having side effects from the Lupus. I couldn’t eat or drink and was diagnosed with Gastroparesis. Then I had to have a VNS implant installed to help control my seizures in 2013. Shortly after it was installed I started constantly being dizzy and passing out. I then was diagnosed with Dysautonomia. Now, after years of dealing with seizures, tachycardia, severe pain, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, I have decided to turn to blogging as an outlet. In this blog I share my personal experiences, and struggles with living with these conditions so that people can understand and relate to what I deal with. I will also share product reviews on items that  I received for free or at a discounted price, and products that I have purchased and wanted to share my opinion on said product, DIY projects, recipes of dishes I have cooked or would like to try.
On my good days I enjoy product reviewing, cooking, baking, gardening, DIY projects, candle making, and of course my new found passion blogging.
