- I'm a newly single mom with two awesome sons, ages 18 and 4. I work full-time. I'm shopping for colleges and preschools at the same time. Fun, fun. I'm finally a published author. My debut novel, Secrets and Lies will be released on Nov 24th. I can hardly wait. I pray this is a lesson in purpose for my sons. That's what me "doing me" is all about!

- Hmmm...I blog about books, African-American Christian fiction to be exact. I occassionally write an article - my publishing journey, or musing about the literary arena or publishing. So, when I blog I do so from my voice. No restrictions, just being me, saying what I want.

- I'm about halfway through a manuscript which will be a companion for the website and blog. I've had the good fortune to come across a children's book editor whom I hope will be a great source of information. I'm trading editing help for sewing. Did you self publish, or were you able to go the traditional route?

- Isn't it funny how we creative types aren't always very mechanical? I have a brother in law down the block who can figure out this stuff in his sleep, so, I'll enlist his aid.
What type of writing? I write a lot of juvenile, tweener and self help pieces. What's your latest project?
