I'm the mom of a 19 year old son. I've been a single mom since he was 3 months old. I work in Corporate America in the daytime but my passion is helping kids feel great about themselves. My son was never the "cool" kid at school, but I thought he was the coolest kid. He was creative and witty but not mainstream. He loves music and wants to be a rockstar. I endeavored to support his love of music by finding a great after school music program for him. When I couldn't find one, in 2006 I mortgaged our house and bought a franchise of the Paul Green School of Rock Music. As a result of that my son's musical skills improved but more importantly his self-esteem improved. He is now studying music at Musicians' Institute in Hollywood CA and I play "Mom" to all the cool kids who are now students at the School of Rock.
