Share a little something about yourself with other moms.: I've been married 28 years and have 2 grown-up daughters. I work as a dyslexia teacher for a British Education charity - I really enjoy helping children (and adults) improve their reading and spelling and feel happier, more confident and better about themselves!

What is your blogging philosophy?: There's so much suffering out there: dyslexia - and other specific learning difficulties - are often not diagnosed or not supported effectively enough. I want to share the understanding I've gained over the years. I've had the privilege of working with so many interesting, talented young people with dyslexia - and hope to help improve future educational provision by sharing!

At our Dyslexia Centre we hear the same complaint over and over: schools are not providing enough effective support for children with reading and spelling difficulties.
