"I stay at home. It was easy and even a relief I have to say in the last year it has become boring and rough. Though I love my boys and feel fortunate to be able to be home with them I miss working and brain stimulation. My boys are very mobile and…"
"I have 2 and we decided pretty quickly after my first. We wanted them close in age so 3 or 4 months after having my first son I was pregnant with my second. During my second pregnancy I made the hasty decision to have my tubes tied during my…"
"I just went to your blog and I like it. The post about being a cultured mom was funny. It's amazing the facts you learn from watching kids tv these days. The experts are wrong about the dangers of tv. I think at reasonable times throughout the…"
"My 2 toddler boys are only 13 months apart leaving me frazzled most days. Even with a look of bewilderment enhanced by exhaustion on my face I get this damn question all of the time. I had my tubes tied while they were hacking my youngest out of me…"
"I am having trouble getting my 3 year old to even try. He argues and refuses no matter what motivators are used (stickers, candy, toys, money, etc). I agree with Jennifer about patience but also don't feel pushed by what they "should"…"
"I did check out your blog and it was really good. I subscribed. I just started blogging but it is becoming quite a cathartic and fun hobby. I have 2 boys that are 13 months (2 and 3 years old) apart so it gets crazy at times. I tell you what though,…"
"Thanks for the invite to be friends. I look forward to getting to know more about you. If you would like check out my blog at mothersraisingboys.com. It's so nice to meet another mom of a boy - boys are fun. You're right, when my husband…"
"Four boys, wow. It must be tough to have your husband away for the week. Mine leaves for 3 days here and there and though I can handle it taking care of my two boys alone gets a little rough. I am going to go check out your blog AND send you a…"

I am a stay at home mom to 2 boys under 4 in Las Vegas. I have been married for almost 2 years making my marriage younger than my second child. I used to teach 5th grade and it was easier than what I do now. I am currently trying to figure out what I want to do when my boys enter school and don't need me anymore. It's between teaching again, or going back to school for a Masters in school counseling. Who knows, maybe I'll become a writer. The world is going to become my oyster (instead of just smelling like one).
What is your blogging philosophy?
I blog about whatever is on my mind that day or week. Many times it's about my kids or family but I also include the other crazy stuff floating around my unused brain.
Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
Thanks for the invite to be friends. I look forward to getting to know more about you. If you would like check out my blog at mothersraisingboys.com. It's so nice to meet another mom of a boy - boys are fun. You're right, when my husband travels, it can be tough - but my blog and work help me to escape!
Thank you also for the compliment.
I only have one daughter, 2 years old.
The 4 years old in my album is my niece. =O)
I checked your blog, it's interesting.
I'll check it again as soon as I can.
By the way, how can I follow your blog?
Sorry, I am very new in blogging world.
Thank you for the welcome Lisa. I will be visiting your blog to learn more about you. If you would like to do the same I welcome you. I have been trying to achieve followers but it has been slow going. Hoping the networking here will get me out there and help me meet other moms like myself.
The threats of internet have been well-documented over the years, and while you as parent may know how to avoid them, chances are your kids don’t. Things could get ugly real fast if you don’t ensure their safety. However, it is easier said than done, especially in the modern day because kids spend…
