The NHS has been facing ever-increasing pressures in recent years, with slashed budgets, staff shortages and lack of resources taking its toll on the quality of care. One of the many ways we commonly see the impact of these pressures is in waiting times for GP…
The day you’ve dreamed of for years has finally arrived! Your little girl is all grown up and has chosen a partner to start her life with, and you are officially a MoB -- Mother of the Bride! While congratulatory remarks are appropriate at this juncture, so are a few…

I dedicate my blog to my son who has a sever speech delay and extensive food allergies. I like to blog about kids with special needs, therapy, specialist, special education, public schools, parenting, gluten free product reviews and information.
I also love political cartoons and lefty politics.
What is your blogging philosophy?
When I started my blog it was catharsis. I was trying to come to terms with having a child with Special Needs. Writing about and sharing the process of learning to cope has helped me so much.

Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
Hi Shelley! It is so good to see you taking time to write about what you deal with on a daily basis. My oldest daughter has a severe food allergy well ( Peanut anaphylaxis) She also has several intolerances as well and suffers from extreme eczema, so I can relate a bit. Good luck and I look forward to reading some your blogs.
