I'm a new mom to a baby girl born in August 2009. I'm a mature university student whose education has been put on hold while I stay home with baby.I want to confront issues surrounding "Modern Motherhood" and offer support to new mothers through stories about my life. I'm interested in the different ways that modern families are created through the various forms of adoption (ie)international or open. I'm a child of adoption and found both of my birth parents in adulthood. I maintain a relationship with them and want to use my perspective to help inform people on adoptions and reunions.
