And yes, I can say with absolute conviction that I did my best to love them. But in reality, it’s hard to rationalize the past when you still see and feel childhood pain seeping out of your adult children today. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not berating myself. Nor am I taking full responsibility for all of their hurts. I am simply…See More

Surviving or Thriving? There have been 4 generations of women in my family that have survived their life. And to be quite honest…that’s how I lived the majority of my life too.
Ladies there is another way!
The role of motherhood can take its toll on us …but only if we let it. I think motherhood is an evolving experience that requires all of our collaboration just to make it through. I don’t know how I could have ever survived it without all of my “girlfriends.” I hope to continue that collaboration with you here by sharing both my successes and my mistakes.... Because now at 45 I’m thrilled to say that I survived and am THRIVING!
What is your blogging philosophy?
Honest, open and respectful!

So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
