Awww the sound of silence...oh wait NO that's my son screaming in the background!

Let me just tell you how my night has gone...lol! Austin has started preschool twice a week to have more interactions with other children and not to mention give mommy a little time to herself while daddy is away. Saying Goodbye....

I am crushed, empty, and saddened to write this post, but reality has come to where we have to say goodbye. Yesterday, I said goodbye to the love of my life for another six (or so) months as he heads back to Afghanistan to complete his mission. It took everything in me yesterday not to cry, but that quickly shattered as I held him tightly knowing that I would not embrace his hug again for what seems like eternity. With the little bit I read about you, I've been inspired.

I've always loved photography, but in recent months, I have fallen head over heels for it; like you said in one of your posts, you cant even explain how it makes you feel.

I just got my first DSLR a few weeks ago, a NikonD60, and Mr. Niko D is my best friend lol. I not only want to be a great mom photographer, but right now, all I can think about is maybe doing this as a side gig someday. Imagine.

I'd love to get pointers from you. Howd you do it? How long have you been taking pics? And professionally? With that said, congrats on your first 'wedding'! What a dream!
