Are you sure you have the correct code? Also, are you using wordpress.com or wordpress.org?

Sign up for it and when you get the code, add a text box widget to a sidebar. Put the code in there. I think it may only work if you have self-hosted WP, versus wp.com.

I just figured it out today. I just got the code and added a sidebar widget (text) to the sidebar with the code. It's working great! I'm my only friend so far. hehe
