I never thought I'd have kids and I have a 2 year old gigantor Son and a 4 year old Daughter, newly diagnosed Type1 Diabetic, which was a shock b/c there was absolutely NO knowledge of family history as far as we were concerned and I CERTAINLY watched their diet and exercise considering I come from OBESE genes.

I had 2 quit my little part time retail job and take on a 3rd kid for babysitting 2 make up for the $$ I'd be losing out on and his Mom was a real good frenemy in school, she turned the WHOLE school against me and made my life a living hell..yeah, I need ca$h that damn bad.

PLUS I have 2 look good and keep in shape on top of it all, but exercising (mostly dancing with the kids or chasing them at the park) makes me feel like waaay better about myself and hello?!? this is the VERY FIRST TIME IN MY ENTIRE LIFE that I have been under 200 pounds, a size 8 (yes, I know about vanity sizing, so technically a size 12?) and doing waasaaaay more physically than I could have done when I was a teen and I'd like 2 keep it that way, it's easier 2 look after the kids, too..

Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
