Life Changes I Wish I’d Made Sooner

By the time I turned 25, I was sure my life was a single-lane highway.

A single-lane highway with no exits. As far as I was concerned, I was headed in the same direction, with no…

Some will be at Momma's knee, listening while she tries to read and sew by candlelight. Others will be grouped around their teacher, gazing at a picture book while they imagine themselves flying with dragons, and standing up to bullies.

Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time. I just love this site. The women are so embracing and I hope you are enjoying your experience as much as I am.

Morning Susan - wow, you're right. Coolah is better known than I thought ;)

As far as hints go... everyone is super friendly! I spent the first few days here going to the forum, participating in topics and joining some groups that pertained to me and visiting some blogs.

I try to welcome new members as you never know who you may meet - and what interesting blogs you may find along the way.

Try to leave comments on blogs - most people will respond in kind. Also look at joining a comment club to get visitors and comments up on your own blog - and you meet some people who you may not have thought about before!

Have fun :)
