Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
Hi Susan! I happened to come across a comment you made in one of the other groups, and seen that you said your 3 year old son has ketotic hypoglycemia. I have a 5 year old son with type 1 diabetes, so I can totally relate to the hectic lifestyle you must be living. I thought maybe you would like to chat sometime about our children's relatively similar conditions, and any other topics that happen to come to our minds LOL. I know how empowering it can be to just talk to another mom who can relate to your every day struggles with similar conditions your children have, and thought maybe we would be able to defelop a great friendship together!
"I write to make myself laugh and to make sense of my life. It's a bonus when other people enjoy my words too." This is a great blogging philosophy! That's how I feel about writing in general. I think coping skills, especially those dedicated to moms of chronically ill children is a wonderful contribution.
My son has been hospitalized three times this last year. I have three other kids and its always a challenge meeting everyone's needs during this time. My blog is Raising Complicated Kids and you can read more about it there. Or email me and we can talk.
