- I have been just about every kind of Mom there is. I started off as a teenage Mom, then I added to my Mom skills with; Military wife Mom, Stay at Home Mom, Single Mom, Working Mom, Step-Mom and now I am a Bloggy Mom! I have two older children that I am very proud of. My beautiful daughter is 21 and in college, and my oldest son is 18 and will graduate high school this year. I met my soulmate after my divorce and with him I have three beautiful step-daughters that live with their mothers and they come to visit often. Then we were all blessed with an exciting surprise blessing, my four year old son. Some of the times in my life were not so fabulous but I always found a way to turn it around. I learned to make some nasty lemons into sweet and tasty lemonade. We never had much money but I have always found a way, and all of those things I share with my readers.
- What is your blogging philosophy?
- Everything that goes on my blog has to pass the “Real Mom” test. Everything has to be something a real mom will use or do. Nothing that requires a bunch of time, Moms don’t have it. I like to keep it friendly but also fun. A bit of my personality slips out in my writing style. I have been writing since I could hold a crayon. I went to school for creative writing at California Institute for the Arts. I have a large creative streak in me. Sometimes I HAVE to write to feel normal; it is like a big release. Silly I know but I love to write and create.
