- I am a pediatric and neonatal critical care nurse and a freelance writer. I also am a wife, mom, and grandmom. I have a passion for parents and kids who are dealing with a serious or terminal illness, a physical or mental challenge that makes them feel different, or kids who are experiencing a loss whether through the death of a loved one, divorce, or lack of friendships.
