Share a little something about yourself with other moms.
I am a stay at home mom, newbie homeschooler and a former financial counselor/educator. Helping others (in the financial realm) before I was a mom and then having kids really affected me. I couldn't ignore the need and the knowledge I have. I have been helping empower adults, especially moms, to grab the financial bull by the horns.
What is your blogging philosophy?
I am passionate about helping our kids know more about finances than adults. I realized that most adults feel very inadequate when it comes to finances, much less teaching it. Problems with money leads to divorce, depression, and much more. I also have researched and found that often, even when we know the right things to do, we don't do them because we don't understand the habits or behaviors to develop or catch them soon enough. Not enough people are talking about this, so I started to share.
I have been blogging since...

Homemade Love for Christmas

Posted on November 11, 2013 at 2:59pm 0 Comments

I definitely have normal kids that LOVE to get new toys, electronics, stuffed animals, dolls, or anything else a kid wold love to get. However, they love a box, empty paper towel roll and bubble wrap almost equally. I absolutely plan on giving my kids a great Christmas with as many items that I can purchase from their wish list that the spending budget will allow (we set an amount for each child). However, I decided this year to…
