- I am a wife and mom of 4 daughters, the youngest of which is 10 (will I EVER be done?!?), who, until recently also enjoyed a long, happy, and successful career in advertising sales. Since the layoff, I have been trying to figure out who (and what) I am in this new world of "stay-at-home-mom", trying on new experiences like driving kids to school and eating healthy lunches that I actually make myself while still looking for work. Crazy times indeed but I'm loving them too and I am trying to get through all of it with faith and humor - but occasionally I still slip into pissed off.

- I began blogging for a creative outlet and to "journal" my experience so I was surprised and encouraged when I learned that my words resonated with other women. I try to "keep it real" to use an horribly OVER-used phrase
