- I teach yoga while raising a small army understanding that my practice not only gives me balance in a hectic life but also speaks to my children about the connection of a healthy mind and body. After a bout with crazy cancer in 2009, I decided to take my dreams to the next level and developed my yoga retreat concept on beautiful Madeline Island, WI. I also found my writing voice and recently launched my own blog. As a yoga mamma, wife, outdoor enthusiast, and dog lover I delight in life a little off balance. Lately, I am very grateful for hair.
