Share a little something about yourself with other moms.

I'm a working mom of three amazing little people and wife to one incredibly supportive man. My career has never quite gone according to the master plan I developed as a young girl, but I'm working my way toward realizing that youthful dream of being a published, gainfully employed writer!

I've worked predominately in the Human Resources, Training and Organization Development field, mostly with technology and dot-com firms, but left the comfort of full-time employment in 2003. Since then I've worked for myself as a HR consultant, professional speaker and writer. I'm the founder of The Integrated Mother, a blog providing resources, advice and community for working moms and am also a part-time college professor.

In the last year, I started running again (regularly about 5-6 days a week) and am training for my 2nd 1/2 marathon in November. I'm being pressured to run the NYC Marathon in 2009 by my run partner, but so far I've resisted. I mean there is a big difference between 13.1 miles and 26.2!!

What is your blogging philosophy?

Blog about what's on your mind, be yourself, but realize that what's put on the Internet tends to stick a good long time, so if you have plans to run for president one day...
