You're immediate response to this question might be "no" but read about one mom who said yes and the controversy she stirred up by doing so. I polled a few friends and the responses are interesting.…Continue

College Grads Asking: Is It's Worth It?

Posted on March 2, 2011 at 2:57pm 0 Comments

I went to visit the College of Charleston last weekend with my daughter and met a nice kid who recently moved to the area from the Northeast.  A job opportunity brought him there which led us to a conversation on colleges. He's a recent graduate from James Madison University and is $50,000 in debt.  His story is like a lot of kids' and they are questioning whether going to college is really worth it? According to the Project on Student Debt, the average debt carried by college grads…

In the interview, Huckabee stated that he thinks Obama will be tough to beat. After all, in modern times, every president except Carter  and Bush Sr. has…

He demontrated using a bunch of pennies on a table to show that what Democrats and Republicans are squabbling over is a nominal amount of money relative to the whole budget. Unless we're…

For some women the pregnant nose goes into smell overdrive with incredible detection ability, in fact increased smell sensitivity can save lives. Just ask your local gas company – pregnant…

Black Friday – it’s Not Just About Fashion

Fashion, eh? It comes and goes, then comes back around again, at once fleeting and eternal. A style is in one month and then is never heard of again – until it is heard of again, of course.

The quest for fashionable clothes never ends; it’s just that what is in vogue is always changing.…
