the modern mama lives in blissful suburbia in the valley of the sun with her husband and two young boys, and is also a full-time communications and public relations professional for a fortune 500 corporation. in her spare time, the modern mama enjoys home décor projects, shopping, and finding humor in all that life brings her way.

- the modern mama’s guide to the galaxy is designed to be a forum for all mamas to connect, celebrate and vent - but most importantly, it is place to share stories and common interests about all things related to being a fabulous mama. as our kids (and waistlines!) grow, we often lose touch with our fellow mama friends due to time zone challenges and never-ending kids’ activities.
the intention of this site is not to offer parenting advice nor tell you how to raise your precious offspring since there are countless magazines on these topics alone. it is a guidebook equipped with anecdotal insight from a modern mama’s perspective on how to not lose your identity, sanity, fashion sense, and humor while navigating yourself through the sometimes treacherous terrains of the galaxy, momsville.
