So, lately I have done a lot of ranting on frickinmom.com
. It is CRAZY what a little ranting will do! Four years ago we purchased a Richmond American home. We loved the house for about 2 hours. Within the first night, we noticed some problems with our new house. Our bedroom was freezing and we could feel cold air blowing around the window.
Within a short amount of time our… Continue

The above list is not the class roster for my child’s pre-k class… nope it is a list of cousins that were born after my oldest chilld. All of these children are related to my girls, not good friends, but blood cousins. I will not even mention the five or six cousins that came before her.

Remember My Melody? Was she Hello Kitty's friend, or sister, or something? Anyhow I remember that I loved the Sanrio Characters when I was a kid. Here I am, almost 40 years later and these same little cutie characters are still around. They've survived the 70's bell bottoms, the 80's big hair, 90's hip hop, and the first decade of Y2K.
Well, I have a favorite blog that I like to check out, it's called DorkStitch. I think Missy who is the author of that blog shares my admiration of… Continue

I was in disbelief watching the news last month about a fatal home invasion robbery in my neighborhood. The victim had surveillance cameras outside his house and after I watched how he and his wife were forced into their house at gunpoint, I was very alarmed and terrified. I see myself vulnerable too because whenever I walk to my house leading up to my front door, I don't look around and do a quick scan of my sides or back. I just walk to my door. In the video, you can see one suspect walking… Continue

I have been working on shipping our first box over to Iraq. Hubby called and needed a few essentials- blanket, sheets, hangars, pillows, bug spray, lysol and a new wallet. Well that
will be easy. Oh the fun of shopping and getting everything packed and
ready to go. I knew I would need a BIG box since he needs pillows and
blankets but once you add everything else it became a REALLY big box. I
stuffed everything in there (lovingly)…

Many years ago, it was almost unheard of for a woman to bear a child
out of wedlock. In some cases, the mum-to-be was cut off from her
family and placed in a home for the improper act of having sex before
marriage, thus resulting in the birth of a child. Even though it had
taken two people to make that baby, the woman would be the one at
fault, whilst in a lot of cases, the man would walk away without
needing to face up to his responsibilities. Of course back then,… Continue

So I've been building these Fan Sites on a site called Fantourage
. It's a site that shows much promise - it's fun because it combines my geeky-tech skills with my passion for certain celebs/bands/chefs/tv shows and a competition (to win points). You'll see - it'll all become clear in the next paragraphs. If you are reading this now then I've caught your interest. I do hope you can click on the site links for the things YOU are a fan of.… Continue

Do you have something to say but are not quite sure which online platform would provide the best showcase for you and your business? You could consider an online magazine.
If you are looking seriously at this option, then there are a few questions you must ask yourself.
Are you going to focus on one topic or cover a broad range of topics?
This is important because it allows you to plan topics well in advance while at the same time… Continue

I am trying out for the first time, purchasing an ad for my website, a humor blog, on Facebook. I thought about purchasing the ad to invite people to become a fan of my fanpage, but am more interested in bringing people to my site. You can link the ad to either.
Since I have a goal to exceed the number of New Visitors to my blog to the level required to afford heat for my home and food for my fridge, perhaps some breath mints, I linked the ad to my blog.

There are days like this day when I HATE being a stay at home mom. When
I envy the fact that Principe has rarely seen Queenie throw a temper
tantrum, when I am jealous of the women out there who get to share some
gossip during their morning coffee that has nothing to do with how to
make your toddler come when you say or to stay in bed. I have gone all
day today without speaking to one adult except for Principe twice (who
is in Madrid until tomorrow and says he may… Continue
