I remember a doctor appointment in my early 20′s where my doctor compared my weight from the previous year and told me it simply wasn’t possible that I gained as much as I did as…

Vaccinations and Pregnancy

Most doctors recommend you take vaccines before you get pregnant and wait at least one month before trying to conceive. They recommend all women to have a medical check up before getting pregnant. There are some vaccines such as rubella and chickenpox that might cause birth defects if they are administered during pregnancy. There is a vaccine (Tdap) which is given to adults as a substitute for Td (recommended every 10 years).  The most common side effects of this vaccine are body aches,…

Let me share with you what I heard when I walked into a doctor’s office.

“But Doctor, isn’t there anything I can do to help Ethan overcome his…

Easy A - Starring Emma Stone

Raise your hand if you think John Hughes wrote (and directed) some great movies about high school? Yep, me too. Well, the filmmakers of Easy A apparently thought the same thing - or they wouldn't have referenced some of his most iconic films for this modern high school story.

Natural Weed Killer To Keep Your Lawn Healthy

Avoid harmful chemicals by using Natural Weed Killer. Stop worrying about your children and pets playing in the yard because of pesticides.

Pesticides are harmful to people, animals and the environment.  Using pesticides can actually kill soil organisms that contribute to a healthy lawn.  If you have been using harsh chemicals to keep your lawn beautiful it can take a few years for the soil to recover.
