Tantrums, Troubles, and Treasures

Dear Littlest Monkey,

I love you so much!  You are, by far, my squishiest, squeeziest, cuddliest baby I’ve had.  ”The others” were cuddly, but not nearly as squishy and squeezy.  I have to be honest with you though.  You are the baby of the family, and because of that, you are being treated differently.  Sometimes it’s good.  Sometimes it’s not.  But as your mother, I feel like it’s my job to be honest with you (and to pay for your therapy later.)

I’ve always been a little skeptical of Martha Stewart, and her “It’s a good thing” philosophy of life.  If it takes seven hours to make clear turkey gravy, I don’t consider it a good thing.

She always seems to be in control of everything and she can cook three meals a day, spend hours in her garden, work with her horses, bake wedding cakes, then host a weekend party for 30, without breaking a sweat.
