Writers Should Do What Bloggers Do With Article Marketing

As opposed to a conventional copywriter who tend to mull over each comma, sentence, word or decimal point whenever they write, bloggers are freer and better at writing out nice little articles or blog entries that contains substance. The difference between what a writer produces and what a blogger produces is this – the length.

The lengthier it is, the easier it is to lose your audience

I don’t claim to be an authority of any sort in this respect although I blog AND I… Continue

pecan crusted sea bass

I put together a new recipe last night and it was DELICIOUS. The best part is that it's simple to make and tastes like you spent hours. I served the sea bass with grilled asparagus and small grain brown rice.

Grilled Asparagus

Soak one bunch of asparagus in water for at least an hour. Drain and coat lightly with olive oil and salt. Grill on high for three minutes.

Short Grain Brown Rice

Combine two… Continue

Reviews: PK Picks

I'd love to help other moms find products that are fun, unique, and useful. As an aspiring business owner, I do tons of market research on the net, in stores, and in magazines to see what other companies are doing. I have subscriptions to most major parenting magazines, industry magazines like Baby and Children's Product News, Earnshaws, and even study magazines from Europe. I'm constantly studying magazines to see what the new product might be not just for my business, but for me personally.… Continue

Who is this insane woman?

This is not a fairytale. This is how I finally figured out how to get my extra baby weight off, get toned up, get organized, and clean my house, in the most “fantabulously” insane way.

My friends have been dying for me to share my plan… so here it is…and for those of you who don’t know me YET… here is a little about me.

I am a stay-at-home/go-to-work mommy to Sophie (6) and Jack (2). Just like you, I carpool. I homework. I run a hundred errands a day. I cook. I clean. And,… Continue

Proud Supporter of Music in Education

DB-E800_LRG In my town, when you move up to the 4th grade, children can select a musical instrument to learn in school. They can pick from flutes, saxophones, oboes, bells, tubas, french horns, violins, violas, cellos, clarinets, trombones, the string bass, snare drums.

My little angel came home from school just before it ended in June, excited because he was given the instrument that was his first choice. Yay him!

The String… Continue

In a Perfect World

James, my 13-year old, and I are in the car on our way back from his dentist appointment that I proudly remembered and made, to the amazement of the staff and myself, to be honest. At 3:00 a.m. when I couldn’t sleep, I was sure I would not wake up in time for the 9:00 a.m. appointment.
Read More. It gets good. I promise.

Inner Girl Garden

IT ALL STARTED WITH A BRA.....

And 5 hours alone.

I haven’t shopped for a bra, in I don’t know how long and was not looking forward to it. But I couldn’t ignore the ragged straps any longer.

I am not a big shopping fan. Truth be told, I can’t stand it and if I ever become independently wealthy, I would cheerfully pay someone a hefty sum to do this hateful chore for me.

But as my current income dictates, for now, Ho Hum…I must shop for… Continue

Serpent Hunters

Let me give you a little back story before I get into my silly story today. Our Mum is deathly afraid of

S-N-A-K-E-S, yes I'm spelling it. When I was little I wasn't allowed to say that word because she soooo didn't like them. Even now, my boys have to hide their rubber fake one's before she comes over. Well, I'm not a big fan of them either, but as long as they don't sneak up on me, I don't really mind them. This year we seem to have more snakes than ever! On Saturday I was surprised by 4… Continue

Life is Like Peeling La-La

It’s sometimes very hard to explain what life is all about. It’s about, to me at least, being happy and alive. Being in the now. In order to achieve what we have set out to do, we have to work hard and smart.

Why am I being so fuggin’ serious here today?

Because of this!! It happened some days ago but this is what happened. I wanted to eat LaLa. It’s clams….the small type, we called it LaLa over here but if you make a search on Google for LaLa, you might find something… Continue

Some people on Twitter and Facebook have been making all sorts of of comments as to why Ethics are Important in a Business?

A few years ago when I was crazily stoked doing alot of Home Parties in the candle business, I found I was getting a tonne of packages sent to my home by FedEx.

The company I was with was all about 'customer service' and at that time… Continue

Nanny Cam: Are you using it for the right reasons?

Many years ago I saw a show on the Dr. Phil Show that featured a nanny caught on camera spanking a baby and then tossing the baby like it was a rag doll against the couch. Dr. Phil and the guests condemned the nanny for her wrongdoing and criticized the family for allowing the nanny to abuse their child and to subsequently become victims of child abuse inside their own home. The show highlighted the pain the family had gone through and how they have recovered since the terrible incident. But… Continue
