Focker Me

Yesterday, my 5 year old had one of his best little buddies over to play. While his mom and I chatted upstairs, we suddenly noticed that it was far too quiet. With the bedroom door closed and behind it three rambunctious boys, we looked at each other with raised eyebrows and wondered.

But one thing led to another, and we forgot about checking on it. When my girlfriend and her son left, I turned to G.

"So, G, did you have fun?"

"Yup." He nodded, munching on a…

I Feel Empowered!

One of the decisions I felt strongly about was breastfeeding my daughter. I had a rocky time of it in the beginning but by the end of the first week I felt like a pro. I was whipping my boob out at her first feeding cues and I've loved every minute of it since. Now that she's approaching the age of two I've decided to wean her from breastfeeding and the process has been a mixture of relief, sadness, stress, frustration and exhaustion. I have never thought twice about breastfeeding and I still… Continue

ReLuma Skin Illuminating Anti-aging Serum & Moisturizer preview! (amongst other things)

Another glorious day of rain in London. Week 27, 13 weeks to go and things are becoming more real to me at long last. I think that I just about feel pregnant! Now being the time that my (once) petite 5'1 and a half(!) frame has an extremely large protrusion jutting out from the front, it's no surprise really. It's funny how obsessed with weight and size we are. I really thought that when I became pregnant that I would almost be like a different person. That I would change, grow up and just…

The UniformTrafficTicket

I have three email addresses.  One is personal, one is for business, and one is a hybrid of the two.  I religiously check them everyday, and sometimes they are full of emails from friends, or emails from myself reminding me to do this or that.  But, many times they are just full of crap.

Fabulous Surprise

I got a lovely surprise yesterday. You may remember back in April when it was Autism Awareness Month that I donated profits from sales of Discovery at Rosehill to the National Autistic Society; so many of you contributed to it by buying a copy of my book.
