A call from the superintendent’s office woke me at 5 a.m. today to say that our school district was closed again due to downed trees and wires. At 6 p.m., I read an email reporting that Cynwyd Elementary would also be shuttered tomorrow.
I’m grateful that a weeklong academic hiatus is all we’re suffering post superstorm Sandy, when so many other communities have been decimated. But I must confess that we’ve been feeling a touch of cabin fever.

Finding legitimate work-at-home jobs is a daunting task. There are SO many sites out there which claim to give opportunities to work-at-home but all they ask for are fees for users to have access to other job boards.
I know…been there…done that…
It’s exhausting and sometimes, you can’t help but lose all hope of one day finding a job which you can really do at home…
And which will let you earn a reasonable income.

Hurricane Sandy brought back many memories of previous hurricanes that I experienced while I was living on the East Coast. I resided in North Carolina for 8 years. While living there I got the pleasure to experience a few minor and major hurricanes. I lived on a military base, in a mobile home, for a majority of the time that I resided in NC.
