http://tawnasplan.blogspot.com/2010/12/working-out-again-feels-great-and-my-no.html

Happy boxing day, well yesterday!  I did not get a chance to post this yesterday as I was too busy playing with the kids and all their new Christmas toys. LOL

I was so sick and tired of being couped up in the house, even though its freezing cold outside so I took the dog…

A Christmas Eve Pajama Party

This morning, the Christmas tree lights are unplugged, and it’s just a dark form in the corner of the room. If I touch the needles of the tree, they shatter in my hand. Where presents used to spill out on the floor in abundance, just a carpet of dried needles can be found.

Beat the Post-Christmas Blues

Christmas is over. There's sadness in you. Perhaps it's because the family has gone home and now the house feels so empty. Perhaps it's because of the forgotten Christmas tree in the corner of the room... the lights are no longer turned on and there's a void beneath the tree. Perhaps it's because the passing of the season is a sad reminder of the passage of time. Regardless of the reason, the days after Christmas can be emotionally overwhelming. Here are ten tips on how to beat the…

Resolutions for a Better World: A Blogshare Opportunity

Each year, as the calendar turns from December to January, greeting a new year and leaving one behind, millions of people make "New Year's Resolutions". Typically, they resolve to improve themselves or their lives in some fashion. Popular themes for resolutions include health (losing weight, exercising more, drinking less, quitting smoking), finances (spending less, saving more, developing and/or sticking to a budget, changing careers), and organization (better time management, minimizing…

Christmas

So Christmas was a blast!!

You know how the older you get the more you appreciate just the small

things like spending time with your family, or making cookies or just

enjoying a meal together? That was this Christmas...I am so glad my

husband has had all this time off to spend with us and even though a

large majority of his time was spent shopping and preparing for our

holiday parties, I think he has enjoyed his time off. My husband is one

of those… Continue

Working out after interStim surgery FINALLY!

My post

http://btrbb.blogspot.com/2010/12/working-out-16-days-after-interstim.html

It has been 16 days since my stage 2 surgery of InterStim and I just did 90 seconds of plank position and jogged in place in front of the TV for 18 minutes and I DID NOT PEE, or even had the urge too and it did not hurt.

This is so cool.  My incision is still sore to the touch.  When I…

Whip Your Hair!

I'm closely related to the alabaster whore

A once tangled mess

Of mine and yours

And scores of other sin sick sinners, too the core

Now, I whip my hair back…

Best holiday gifts aren't what you'd expect

The kids crept in to wake us up at 6 a.m today, just as they promised.

I'm sure they'd been up much longer, but they know the rules - no one goes downstairs on Christmas morning before 6 a.m.

Soon after, the squeals and oohs and ahhs began. But not for the presents I expected.

The big-ticket items were appreciated, of course. But my son's favorite gift wasn't the Wii game we splurged on. It was a Mario figurine stocking stuffer from Santa. ("It can move its…
