Every few months I get these cravings for sweets. I’m not a big-time sweets-eater. Not sure if it’s because my mom didn’t feed us many sugary foods while we were young or if I wasn’t wired to love desserty foods…but back to my point, every few months I can’t seem to finish a meal without salivating for a sweet bite afterward.
That’s been my life this past week. Continue

Who me? No, I don't get angry at my kids.
When they're all running in opposite directions, and all I can do is make a split second decision. Chase the one in the most imminent danger, and hope the other two either come to their senses or are stopped by some arbitrary onlooker. No, I don't even think of screaming like you'd never believe.
And no my neighbors don't know all of my children's names. Not because I have time to chat with… Continue

There are many over the counter gels, tablets, lotions, etc that claim to help with muscle relief. Some of them are pretty good for a short while, others have side effects such as burning the skin or carry a heavy odor which means most people don't want to walk around or go to work smelling like menthol. If your like me and millions of other people around the world and you are looking for a natural medicine for muscle pain relief then you have landed in the right place. This natural medicine is… Continue

I'm going to make a small confession that I didn't even realize until a few days ago that it would even BE confession. I also realize that I'm sure in my past entries, I probably sound really neurotic. And I am. I don't argue for one second that I'm not and I do apologize for that. Although, if I ever met a mother who didn't have a slight case of neurosis I would probably immediately try to make her my BFF and emulate her entire life in an attempt to make my own a little easier. I wouldn't call… Continue

This is a show stopper of an appetizer. My brother and sister-in-law served these at their wedding. We recently had my Dad over for "linner" (you know lunch-dinner) and he brought all of the ingredients to make these. I think he fell in love with them at the wedding. My Dad has always loved eating food but this interest in… Continue

I don’t know about you, but I’m not a big fan of bath time. I know some parents enjoy bath time, and I suppose they also like getting their sleeves wet up to their elbows and wrestling with slippery toddlers. Bath time reminds me of drinking margaritas...it starts out nice enough but someone always ends up crying. ...Continue… Continue

It's an Oxymoron...."Erica and yard work" I get a little cranky at just the thought, and I usually have to prepare myself for about a week before I head out to mow or clip.
I do love to garden, but honestly that's totally different!! I'm not a master gardener, no Martha Stewart by any means. My technique is more like....throw…

I am happy that clogs are trendy again, especially now when major designers are repping their style through clogs. I have posted some pics of clogs I think are so cute. This is a comfortable way for me to be a stylish mom with my uniform of jeans and tees! My article on clogs and some… Continue
