The Third Person Insult

Man, I hate it when moms can be so catty.  After yesterday's post when I was reveling in the golden light that shines upon the sisterhood of mommies everywhere, today was…

REALITY TV

I admit to indulging in Reality TV but I think it has gotten out of control. We have the Next Chef, Model, Idol, Apprentice, and Super Hero. You can watch someone having plastic surgery on Extreme Makeover or watch someone eating cockroaches. Lets not forget about the great role models for our kids that these shows provide. Take Jersey Shore for instance.

How to get the most out of cash back programs

Let’s admit it, shopping is fun and so is spending money. That is, until you’re running low on money. But you can’t forget about the deals, discounts, coupons, and especially cash back programs that in essence pay you for online shopping!

Think about it, a $10 off coupon essentially pays you $10 to buy the product. Even better, any cash back program is the best way to get paid for shopping. You can either earn points that go toward your…

The Sweet, The Sour And The Danger

http://www.reanaclaire.com/2011/03/sweet-sour-and-danger.html

After a heavy breakfast, I opted for a light lunch meal. An 0.8kg underweight is easily gained, in fact, I am sure I have reached my target weight of 47kg by now. Anyway, it is not good to lose weight without exercising at the same time. Due to my age, the body flesh will easily "droop" and become soft if I do not indulge in some form of exercise.…

Crucial Baby Products for those Early Months

Crucial Baby Products for those Early Months

I find that after having my second son there are some items that were even more important to have around this time than the first.  We were lucky enough to not have to buy much since our second was a boy as well.  We had all the clothes covered, all the gender neutral gear in case we had a girl, tons of bottles which we didn't end up needing this time around… Continue

Where Does The Sperm Go?

She didn't actually use the word "sperm", she called them "tadpoles". Is this something they're teaching them in school, I wondered. Surely, the teacher who lectures about sex education doesn't refer to that sticky mess as "tadpoles".

Are You A Rude Blog Hopper?

I recently realized how rude I was being while blog hopping. Now let me say I normally don't do this, but this time I was in a hurry, ready to walk out the door, so my comment was a bit hurried while visiting a person's blog for the first time.

Normally, I read the person's post before I comment letting them know that I am following them and how they can follow me back, and I usually always mention something in their current post.…

Dropping Google Friend Connect and Facebook Like Box

I'm finally doing it!

I'm letting bloody go!

Goodbye GFC, I'll miss you so.

Goodbye Facebook Like Box,

I wish I didn't have to let you go.

No longer shall I be shackled to my desk,

waiting and watching,

watching and waiting for your numbers to rise.

No longer shall I move your widget around my site,

searching for the best placement for visiting eyes.

I am now free,

free as a stallion that's been let loose into a…

My Job, My Passion - Ok, Maybe Not!

Mondays in the office are generally tough.  The lazy, mindless and relaxing Sunday afternoons with the family are replaced with corporate lingo and a task driven frame of mind on Monday mornings.  Last Monday, my day started with a 9am team meeting where I joined 10 HR colleagues in a conference room.  As I was getting comfortable in the oversized leather chairs surrounding the long table propped with notebooks, pens and Starbucks coffee cups, I faced a wall which housed a screen with a…
