Huggies is doing something pretty cool- They have a challenge for you and a fun online game but by playing you may be able to help a baby in need :) Pretty cool.
If you've ever visited my blog you already know I'm a huge Huggies fan. I'm a first time mom and when Matilda was born it was so important to me that she was covered and protected and I had the best diapers possible. Huggies Snug & Dry were those diapers. Being a mom for the first time means Matilda and I… Continue

It's Day 2 of the SITS Problogger summer challenge and the task for today is to create a list post. I've made one before so it's not really a new task over here but they're fun to make anyway! So far this challenge has been pretty cake for me and I'm definitely not complaining. Breathe in... breathe out...
My choice topic for my list is, obviously, "8 'essential' items I always keep in my purse". We all know about the typical items such as wallet, keys, cash, hair elastic, cell… Continue

It's been nearly a week since I've last posted and I have no regrets about it! I want to feel bad for neglecting good old 'Lipglossd Mom' but it has just been one of those weeks where I feel the less I do the better. I've had some emotional drainage since last Monday so I think taking a "mental health" week was just what was needed. Since then, I have some new topics to post about as well as a TON of great reviews and one awesome giveaway coming up! I'll post what to look out for in the right… Continue

So as my challenge progresses I realize how lazy I actually have been! I just finished my second “workout” with the Your Shape and I am feeling it. (Not that that is a bad thing.):) My back is killing me and so are my abs, butt and legs. I know this is a good thing right now, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it!...
Check out my blog The Elect Lady for the rest of the… Continue

When I heard about the World Breastfeeding Challenge, scheduled for October 3, I immediately knew I wanted to go. I’m up for a challenge! All over the world mothers would unite and latch on their children at the same time — what a great idea to promote breastfeeding! So Landon and I drove to the White Plains, New York, location, which was Full Circle Family Care. I told him there would be a lot of babies, and since he loves babies, he was all exited.
I was proudly sporting my “Yes,… Continue

Today, I did something I thought I would never do, but knew it had to be done...eventually.
It had been something on my mind to do but at times I never had the change or the extra hamburger.
After seeing CJ and hearing her nag about me not eating (she could tell I was loosing a lot of weight quickly), I stopped by McDonalds. I ordered my Vanilla ice cream cone and 2 cheese burgers. The young man in the first window gave me my change back. The dollar bill looked to much… Continue

How do you feel about cleaning? Is it something you enjoy or something you dread? Maybe it depends on the day or the chore that lies ahead. I will admit I love my vacume cleaner! There is something euphoric about those stroke marks on my carpets. But on the other hand I would be happy if I never had to deal with another dish or piece of laundry again! What ever your feelings about cleaning it doesn't change the fact that staying on top of your… Continue
