This is a lovely story celebrating what Thanksgiving is REALLY about.

You see, everyone in Dynomike’s class is excited, all they can do is talk about food all the time. They can’t wait for the home bell to ring, and love chattering about the tasty things their family enjoy on Thanksgiving…

When you’ve been parenting a long time, these holiday gifts become more challenging.  We’ve gone through all the young kid crafts, like the paper tie and the construction paper cards.  My husband is not a sports fan or a golfing guy so it is even…

5 gifts for my younger self + A Mother's Day $100 Giveaway

Growing up, Mother's Day was a day where I would make my mom a "gift" at school.

I didn't have the type of dad that would take us kids shopping to buy her a gift.

Mother's Day was a day where I would hand her the "gift" I made and the day was pretty much a…

Why We Started Celebrating St. Nicholas Day

Last year our family added a new tradition to our Christmas celebrations, the observance of St. Nicholas Day.

A Collage for Daddy

lly and I wanted to do something special for Daddy, just to show him how much we love him. We sat down to brainstorm a couple ideas of what to do and finally settled on making a collage for Daddy. The collage would contain things that he really enjoys and something that describes him. Although our Daddy is one who likes to wrestle and roll around on the floor, he also really enjoys dressing up and looking nice!

Check out our finished picture and see how you can make one…
