Strength Made Perfect in Weakness

The Sacramento Zoo

I recently visited the Sacramento Zoo with my two older boys on a school field trip and we had a great time.  I have visited the Sacramento Zoo many times, and try to go once a year.  If you have not recently attended they have made some new additions!  One of my favorite new additions is the Stage Show with Animal Talks!  They display different animals, share fun facts and information about the animals and allow you to touch some of the animals.  At one point during the show they invited…

Expecting Baby #4

We are expecting baby #4 due July, 2015!  It has taken me a while to write this and get it posted, between kids, life, my volunteer work and feeling tired from being pregnant I have not blogged much lately.
We are very excited, my boys are a little older and understand at a greater level what a new baby means, which heightens the excitement in the house.  They each talk to the baby and rub my belly and I love that they are more aware of our new addition.  When my oldest was…

I’m embarrassed to say that I only recently got my Will in order. I have a 4 year old son and an 8 month old daughter and yet it took me this long to get my act together and draft one up. I would be lying if I said that I couldn’t find the time to get around to it. I did. It’s not easy thinking…

A Way To Win The Battle With Tourettes

Being a Person with Tourettes can be so difficult and challenging.  For a child, it can be even more difficult. Sometimes it is extremely hard for the child to translate to adults what is happening to them and they cannot control the tics that occur. Many seek every solution in controlling the tics but most often, even after Tourettes is diagnosed, a solution is often not found.  I have read that some visit doctor after doctor and trying tons of medication…

Family relationships. Brothers and Sisters

What is the place in this large, dangerous and hostile world where we can hide from all problems, find support and understanding? For the majority of people it is home. Who can help us in every situation, give advice, and just love us as we are? They are our mothers, fathers and, of course, brothers and sisters.

Is not it cool to have the…
