It was in 2007 when The Succulent Wives came to be a blog. Looking back we are amazed on the plethora of topics that we have written about over the years. Some were poignant, some funny and many we had completely forgotten about. As our blog has grown, so has our readership and because of that, we want to share the ones that, to this day, are still…

It was in 2007 when The Succulent Wives came to be a blog. Looking back we are amazed on the plethora of topics that we have written about over the years. Some were poignant, some funny and many we had completely forgotten about. As our blog has grown, so has our readership and because of that, we want to share the ones that, to this day, are still our favorites. The one below was originally posted in 2009 (where has the time gone) and I still make this salad… Continue

It has been quite a few months since I did a Feature Friday, and since I'm finally feeling better, I thought why not start it up again. I love finding new blogs to read that inspire me and I came across Four Leaf Clover Tales during last week's blog hop.

Divine and I actually have quite a bit in common. Both of us were journalism majors and before the company I worked for layed off all its employees, I too worked at a TV station as a director before finding out I was pregnant which ultimately lead me to being a stay at home mom to my little boy. So I am excited to feature Divine since we have so much in comment. Continue

For this Friday I would like to introduce you to a woman and fellow blogger that I have a lot in common with. While, I don't have a four year old, I do have a two year old and I watch a 2 year old and an infant and my days are crazy sometimes. Its what I like to call organized chaos. Everything is scheduled, but on the surface looks like a tornado has run throw my house. It all gets cleaned up at the end of the day just in time for me to start over though, but I digress, here is Hope from… Continue

Much like Lindsey, I have a lot to say sometimes, just no outlet to say it in or really an ear to listen, which is where my blog comes from. When you spend most of your days alone talking in one to two words sentences so your toddler son can understand you, the need for intellectual stimulation, or at least an outlet every now and then is what I try to achieve with my blog and I assume like most Mommy Bloggers. Sometimes I hate saying "Mommy Blogger" I really think it can sometimes have a… Continue

I am always excited to meet new bloggers and I have to say I have a handful of bloggers that have become friends of mine over the last 6 months or so and would love to just grab a cup of coffee with them and chat, and hopefully we actually get to. But I think at the rate things are going the world will have to thaw out first. Can you believe this weather? Even in Arizona with wind chills of -27. Just glad it wasn't an ice storm like it was on the East Coast. So Mary is one of those people who… Continue

So after the new year I'm finally getting back into the swing of things and getting into this routine thing. Routines...I live by routines....if I very from them...life just gets chaotic and I get forgetful. Which is why I love my ipod so much, it is my list maker, my music, my grocery list, to do list and of course how would I get by without Hootsuite on it to tweet with all my readers? Ok, so on to my feature presentation...… Continue
