Product Review: Leave-In Conditioner / Protection

Product Overview:

Hair conditioners are specifically designed to give strength, repair the damaged cells and maintain the essential moisture levels in the hair. A number of conditioning products are in the market, but they contain harmful chemicals, silicone and synthetic ingredients that can really damage your hair. Use of chemical based products only makes your hair dry and dull. Leave-in conditioner/protector is basically used to…

By Anne-Marie Kovacs, Chief Wife

Banded Hairband 2 I have finally – FI-NAH-LY – found a headband that stays put, exactly where I want it and won’t slip, ride up my head, hurt behing my ears and/or give me a headache. First World problems, I know. But I know that many of you sympathize…

Pip Squeak: Why Can’t I Just Go Grey Gracefully?

My grandfather was both grey and balding by 27 years of age. I, thankfully, have not gone bald, but at 36 I have a few grey hairs. Okay, a little more than a few. But I embrace them fully!

My stylist is another story. She can’t understand why I won’t dye them away, shaking her head disapprovingly as I tell her I’m looking forward to going grey gracefully! I’ve always loved seeing a young(er) woman with white hair and an AWESOME haircut. It looks cutting edge and feisty.…

ReLuma Skin Illuminating Anti-aging Serum & Moisturizer preview! (amongst other things)

Another glorious day of rain in London. Week 27, 13 weeks to go and things are becoming more real to me at long last. I think that I just about feel pregnant! Now being the time that my (once) petite 5'1 and a half(!) frame has an extremely large protrusion jutting out from the front, it's no surprise really. It's funny how obsessed with weight and size we are. I really thought that when I became pregnant that I would almost be like a different person. That I would change, grow up and just…

Birthday Parties- Why Not Make Some Fun at Home?

Birthday parties have changed significantly since I was a child. It used to be that a few friends came over, everyone played and the highlight was cake and opening presents. Today on the other hand birthday parties have turned into major events. Parties have to be planned weeks in advance in order to secure a venue and invitations need to be sent out weeks in advance in the hopes that people are still available come your party date. Not only have the parties gotten more extravagant but so have… Continue
