The Power of Social Media During a Hurricane

Irene...Why this weekend.

Just about to end the Summer and this weeks comes to us in New York w/ first an earthquake & Now we brace ourselves for a Hurricane.

As I sit here making sure my kids & hubby are all taken care of w/each having their own safety bags. Water in the freezer, making batches of dinner where it can just be heated up.

I keep thinking are we going to be lucky and nothing will happen which would be a very good thing but what if it does hit as they say.
