If you listen to the news, we are no longer in a recession. However, the average family still isn’t able to buy a larger house as their families expand. It could be that we have gone into debt during those dry years and it could also be that the cost of living has increased beyond the limits…

The top factors of debt consolidation by using personal loans

One of the top reasons for which people take out personal loans is to help consolidate their credit card debt. It’s a risky approach because if you don’t do it the right way, you risk getting buried under even more debt. However, doing it right can get you out of a pickle. When considering…

Drawing Inspiration From The Silver Screen?

I read an interesting article in Forbes today titled Four Movies Every Entrepreneur Needs To Watch.

Cool picks, couple of my faves made the cut. Definitely check them out. Chris Myers has some interesting perspectives to share and I have a few of my own selections to add to the list.…

Genius, Billionaire, Playboy, Philanthropist - Who Am I???

Here's just one more reason why Robert Downy Jr. stands strong at the top of my "list." <3

Microsoft's social media campaign, The Collective Project, celebrates students using technology to change the world. How better than to give young children use of their limbs back using 3D print technology? That's exactly what Limitless Technology does. The volunteer group started by a University of Central Florida engineering PhD student recently constructed a special "Iron Man" arm for a…

Watch Me Sparkle...And Grow Facial Hair??

Lucky Hubby. He hopped a flight to Vegas earlier this week and spent three days wandering the strip to visit various hotspots (no pun intended) of the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show.  I, on the other hand, received updates via iPhone as I suffered through the deep freeze that afflicted the Northeast for the better part of the week.

Yes, Hubby uncovered a plethora of electronic treasures during his stay - routers, Audis, Corvettes, Lamborghinis, Iron…

5 things you didn't know about Spider Man

I seems my life lately has been dominated by super heros. Over the last few days I've learned a lot about Spider Man. I already had the 1960's theme song down, but I had no idea how dynamic this guy really is.

5 things you didn't know about Spider Man:

1. Spider Man loves to show off his muscles. All that web slinging really builds up that body. I mean, Wow!…

The Dreaded Man Cold

A nasty sickness has been worming it's way through our family, taking us out one by one like some kind of stealthy, paid-for-hire assassin.

I was first. Then my oldest daughter got and it and this weekend my husband got it. It is a nasty cold but not just any cold, a MAN COLD!

A man cold is similar (on paper) to your run of the mill woman cold, except that in real life it's much more dramatic and whiny.…

The Last UPS Man

I have a special place in my heart for my dog, Huey P. Long.  He is the first dog I’ve ever had, and when he showed up on our doorstep, malnourished and mangy, there was no way I could call animal control.  I just couldn’t.

Huey must have a special place in his heart for Elliott and I because there is no doubt he would die for us.  He is extremely protective of us, while only merely tolerating Hunter and Colby.  Over the 18 months we’ve had him, he has warmed up to Colby and Hunter,…
