Saturday night Canada was basically closed.
Okay, not really, but the country pretty much came to a three hour standstill while we all cried tears of joy and sadness as we watched the live broadcast of The Tragically Hip's last concert. It was bittersweet, bringing a wide range of emotions to most of us.

Hurricane Sandy brought back many memories of previous hurricanes that I experienced while I was living on the East Coast. I resided in North Carolina for 8 years.
