So you are looking for a New Home and you haven’t put together a List of things to check for, then this list will help you.
BAMBOO
This is a very intrusive and hard to get rid of plant. Check if your neighbors have it, if so your yard will soon be invaded and you can’t get rid of it. Excavating the yard is the only solution.
AIRPORTS
How close is the airport to you? You don’t want Planes Flying over your house at all hours.
RAILROAD TRACKS

Good Coffee is Community Coffee! Why do I say this, well as a coffee
drinker, I am the biggest critique of what good coffee is, so when
Community Coffee had me do a review, I jumped at the chance. When…

Well, I did it. I got a tattoo. Sending a huge thanks to everyone who weighed in on whether I should get one or not in To Tattoo Or Not. It was icing on the cake. The experience was great, memorable, and painful. The pain was to be expected.… Continue

Colby and I are leaving this morning for New Orleans. The Big Easy is a very special place for us. On June 21, 2003 we were married in Jackson Square in the middle of the French Quarter. Every year for our anniversary we celebrate by visiting the birth city of our marriage. Some years we’ve had to go before our anniversary and other years… Continue

As I sit here and type this entry on this dreary, rainy, humid Tuesday, I'm asking myself how on
earth
is it possible that I'm just as tired now as I was before Kevin and I
took our 'stay'cation? Yep! It's been back to the drawing board over
here and today feels like a Monday for me. I'm already pooped! However,
we did have a relaxing, extremely needed weekend to ourselves and it
was so nice to have the weekend for just the two of us. We laid around,
watched…

A local pizza place, Bellizzi, asked me and other local bloggers to collaborate on a Blogger Salad, and he included my suggestion! He had asked me, via Twitter, “If you could be any ingredient, what would you be?” My response: “Red bell pepper — fiery and crunchy, and good for your heart — like me.”
Isi wrote an article about the Blogger Salad and all the other… Continue

At first I wasn’t going to chime in after reading Sunday’s the
New York Times article “
Honey, Don’t Bother Mommy. I’m Too Busy Building My Brand.” by Jennifer Mendelsohn. Then I read articles responding to it by other bloggers I respect and the many thought-provoking comments that were left. The mommy blogging word in is a tizzy, there’s even a Facebook page set up to protest the
New York Times.…

My makeup bag contains one very old tube of foundation (because I only wear makeup on the rare occasions when my husband and I go out for dinner) and a few other dried up objects. I resorted to cutting my own hair when Mirabelle was a baby (because it just seemed easier than trying to work out a time when I could go to a hair salon, given she was BF and refused…

Hello Everyone..
Greetings from Leesburg, Georgia. I am new to this interesting world of blogging and am looking to network with moms who might share common interests. There are 1000s of sites out there for the younger mom with small children.... not that there is anything wrong with that lol, but I would also like to meet moms and grandmas in their 50s.
I am a 52yo married mom and grandma to three adorable babies. I enjoy being with family and friends. I love traveling to…

Well, hello fellow moms and bloggers! I think that this may be a very enlightening year for me. My son will turn 2, I'm finally heading off to college, and we're moving for a new start. I am very excited to see where 2010 takes me! Hopefully, I will even meet some new friends along the way!

How did you spend your New Year's Eve? We took our three girls to dinner at their favorite Chinese restaurant, and then searched in vain for an ice cream parlor.
