After Christmas Poem

'Twas the day after Christmas

And down at the store,

Shoppers were searching

For bargains galore.

A sweater for auntie.

She'd think that was nice.

A scarf for mother.

They're both at half price.

Some came with purpose,

Toting a big sack,

With all the spare gifts

That they had brought back.

Were cashed in with glee,

Which brought more goodies
