Being Without Power

It has been a week since our power was fully restored. We went for 5 days with limited to no power or water.

I felt as though I was trapped in my apartment, my daughter couldn't go to school. 17 floors up, so stairs were not an option for me. My hubby did the stairs a few times to get food at the local grocery store. 322 stairs down and back up.

I called home and my son Merrick asked me what was for dinner! I said, "You know where the eFoods box is? You choose!" It is Day 12 of our new family business -- the Power Mom Food Fund!
