What's a Mom's Job?

One son living off formula and on a feeding tube and another son with hearing aids - this could’ve been me.  But it’s not.  Instead, I have a son who’s healthy and thriving and another who hears fine.  Where we lucky?  Did God simply smile done at us?  Yes.  But I also know that my children are lucky to have a mom.

I've lived with depression my entire life, managed well with medication for the last several years. I also have two children with bipolar disorder. In our extended family this illness affects nearly a dozen others. I know the challenges. I also know the possibilites and blessings.
