Amazing way I spent my B-day Giving Back

Click on the link below to see how I spent my b-day!kindness

What I absolutely adore most about this experience is how many people said they were going to pay it forward. And the fact that when I logged onto Facebook that night a friend had said that someone paid for her coffee and she…

My Hospital packing list

I realize this post is quite a bit after my hospital stay, but I thought it would be a good idea to reflect on my hospital packing list for my delivery. I read a lot of articles on what to pack in your labor and delivery suitcase and many of them were repetitive, and some had some great ideas that I haven’t though of. So here is what I packed, and my discussion on whether I used the items or not.

Cirque du Soleil Amaluna Experience

This was our first time at a Cirque du Soleil show, so I wasn't sure what to expect. When the opportunity to visit presented itself, I had to visit Google to find out if it was appropriate for kids. In their FAQ's section, it states: "Like most of Cirque du Soleil’s shows, Amaluna is meant to entertain the whole family. That said, moments of loud noises and darkness used during the show may frighten some children."

They've…

Think I Found My Solemate

I love wearing ridiculously high heels.  You know, the kind that make you cringe in anguish with each step taken after a short while of wear.  Regrettably, as I age, my threshold because shorter and shorter.

The pain is never a deterrent for me.  Nope, I suffer willingly. I ignore the toe-crushing sensations and the scorching agony that begins in the balls of my feet and shoots up my calves. I suck it up. At barely 5'3, I NEED the shoes. They give me a commanding presence.…

Mi Bella Reina 24K Gold Face and Neck Mask

After posting about the 25% off discount for Mi Bella Reina's 24K Gold Face and Neck Mask, I couldn't wait for my shipment to arrive. I saw the stock photos, but I still wasn't sure what to expect. I've tried face masks in the past, but they would be creams that dry and I would have to peel off the pieces, or it…

Adventure Landing & Shipwreck Island Water Park Review

I could not WAIT to visit Adventure Landing. Water + Park = Lots of fun! Especially since this Summer really sucked because of rain. Locally, our weather men and women would predict sunshine and we'd end up with a day full of lightening and thunder. I stopped listening to them years ago and knew when I checked the weather for Jacksonville and saw that it said 80% chance of rain, it would be perfect weather for…

NEW Arm & Hammer Truly Radiant Toothpaste and Spinbrush

I have been using whitening toothpastes since I was a teen. I know the types of food eaten can result in yellow, cream color teeth and I like coffee but I don't drink it often enough for it to have an affect (at least I don't think it should). I've tried whitening strips, gels, mouth wash, some…
