First off, I just want to say I'm sorry for not having a feature Friday
today, but we will have one next week. Its been quite a week and have
had the inability to sit down and tally up comments to choose a winner
this week...I'm drained and I'm very glad its Friday!

When I was younger, I never thought that I would be a stay-at-home mom. I had thought that I would finish school, work for a while, get married and then have kids. I guess I never really gave much thought to
what would happen after I had my children, but I also don’t think that it
would’ve mattered because from what I have learned, nothing is like it seems on
Leading up to having my daughter,… Continue

This morning at 6:00 a.m. I was enjoying Mommyland
, you know, sitting there on the couch, having just finished nursing my six month old, basically trying to clear my eyes, and get focused on what needs to be done during the day.
As I am sipping on my second cup of Java, watching the baby… Continue

My son, whom I affectionately call Mr. A, recently grew out of his car seat...but he just doesn't seem to want to let it go. Check out how he's showing us that the seat can still work for him.

Whole story here..
Part of becoming a mommy is having to think for someone other than yourself. You have to think what's best for your child, how a decision will affect them now and in the future. I had to make a VERY hard (for both myself and Jaliyah) decision recently, which also contributed to my short absence.
One of the decisions, that I am sure many of us have faced, is whether you and your SO should… Continue

I know you have heard it before. You get your child the best, most expensive toy, and yet they tend to play with the box. As I was sitting there today, a similar scenerio took place. Look at this picture.
no, I am not talking about the squash stains on Hudson's shirt…

It was that time again....well-check time at the doctor's office. It is hard to believe that little Huddie is six months old! Everything checked out fine
of course we knew he was perfect.
We have a healthy, happy, and absolutely adorable six month old bouncing baby boy.
Just being content with bouncing, unfortunately, is starting to be a thing of the past though. Yep, my days of sitting on the floor beside the little guy watching him chew on his toys

I went to the mall today….my three year old was at preschool so I’ve started to squeeze in some retail therapy with my infant. When I heard that you and your gorgeous husband were expecting your first baby, I wanted to shout for joy. When I heard your sister-in-law was handling the shower, I was a little less excited. Don’t get me wrong, she’s a very nice person…I think. I’m sure asking you if you’re going to get a boob job after nursing was well-intended. I’m also pretty certain that the tantrum she threw at your husband’s birthday party was just the result of a bad day. (A lot of people…
