Geesh, it is officially the last Monday in July, where the heck has summer gone! My goodness, just a few posts ago I was celebrating the first day of summer now this. And to think, I haven't even completed half of my to to- do's from my summer must do list, well with the exception of a few things.
Sigh.. summer please don't go, I need more time:…

Today is Mother's Day, but I started celebrating early. Yesterday I went horseback riding on the beach. This was something I never would've pictured myself doing or even being interested in, but the ladies group I'm a member of is always going on adventures like kayaking and I just figured it was about time I get out of my comfort zone and try something different!…

Warmer weather is just around the corner and the beach baby shower theme is perfect for the season. We absolutely love a surf baby shower theme for both boys and girls! It is casual and fun, great for a couple’s shower or a mommy-to-be who loves the beach. Turn your home or backyard into a tropical oasis and give the mom-to-be a relaxing day at the beach. Is your guest list ready to hang…Continue

. . . was the question from the very irritated and judgmental man who almost ran my children over in the Target parking lot! “YEEEEEEEESSSS!” was my defensive and embarrassed response.

I would assume that I'm not the first mommy on earth that realizes how difficult it's going to be to let her children go.
And I'm sure I'm not the only mom that begins to prepare for the inevitable empty nest and all of the things that we hear it will bring.
For me, my children moving out, and my home becoming an "empty nest” represents yet another loss in my life. I've had lots and lots of loses, so trying to prepare myself ahead of time is now just what I…Continue
Since I wanted now to maximize the features of my cameras, I forced myself to shoot videos while my son and I toured Camarines Sur and Albay in the Bicol Region.
Shooting was a breeze, editing it was not. UGH!

Vacation = Relaxation? I'm not so sure. We have been home from vacation for 5 days, and I still don't feel "caught up". I am really tired, still haven't put all of our laundry away, and haven't fixed my hair since we returned home. I am however, soooo happy to be home! It is always nice to get away, but by the end of vacation, I am always excited to return to the comfort of my own home, and ready to eat home cooked meals. This year, we headed to Myrtle Beach for a week. We had an…Continue
