Our favorite pajamas for BIGGER babies! The first year.

We love baby pajamas around here – the full footie, long sleeve kind made out of the softest cotton. They are a necessity for my son, Grayson because of my sleep habits. I can’t sleep without the air conditioning on 72 degrees and poor Grayson has the coldest room in the house despite us closing the air duct into his room. To make up for it, he gets…

Mom Jeans and Other Horrors from a Wardrobe Gone Mom.

When I was getting dressed today, I realized I have been wearing Mom Clothes frequently.  When did this happen?

http://breezysmommy.blogspot.com/2013/02/mom-jeans-and-other-horrors-from.html

A realistic look at my mommed out clothing, and why I probably will keep on wearing it. Mom clothes are like a badge of honor? Or at least they are the most comfortable stuff available to…

What I Wore... 5 1/2 Months Pregnant

http://www.thepiggytoes.com/2012/10/29/what-i-wore-5-12-months-pregnant/

Time is flying baby!  Well, not really.  Sometimes, by nights end, my body feels like it did when I was 7 months pregnant with the boys.  My back is really hurting this time regardless of the moves and stretches and exercises I do but I’m not complaining.  Little one is doing great; kicking and moving…

I Love Super Grover 2.0, More Than My Kids!

Every morning I look forward to watching Sesame Streets superhero, Super Grover 2.0 with my girls.  My girls always rush me to get them dress, “hurry Mommy, so  YOU can see Super Grover!”  I asked my girls this morning if they knew why I loved Super Grover?  They said because he is always trying to help and I told them, “yes!” for the most part…  I love Super Grover because he never gives up, no matter the…

Bamboo? To wear or not to wear? A Baby clothing must have?

Why Use Bamboo

Why Bamboo Clothing?

Bamboo fabric has a natural sheen and softness that feels and drapes like silk but is less expensive and more durable.

Bamboo clothing is easy to launder in a clothes washer and dryer.

Because of the smooth and round structure of its fibers, bamboo clothing is soft and non-irritating, even to sensitive skin. Some people with chemical sensitivities can not tolerate bamboo…

Hoochie Mama?

Hoochie Mama?

It's hard to believe that I'll be 35 tomorrow.  When I was a kid—and even in my early twenties—35 sounded ridiculously "grown up," and 40 seemed positively ancient.  Yet here I am, feeling perfectly fine about the milestone.

I probably wouldn't be making much of…

D-ring and Velcro Belts for Kids, Which To Choose and Why

When I started my company, Cute Beltz I was so excited because let’s face it, you couldn’t and still can’t find belts for toddlers in the major chains and I was going to make sure every kid’s “bum” was covered! After 4 years, I am still excited about belts! It really is a wonderful feeling to hear a “thank you” from so many of you!

I love that we offer two types of belts because no person is the same and we all have a look in mind when we purchase an accessory. So it’s cool we offer…

Redefining March Madness (yes, I know it's April, but that's how maddening my March was)

So it’s March Madness, and even the Nana has a “bracket” that she’s betting on.  Well here’s what I’m betting on . . . absolutely losing my mind before March is over!!
A couple months ago, following a particularly in depth round of spring cleaning, Husband from Heaven and I were “casually” looking at new homes.  Well, one thing led to another and 60 days later I am now sitting at the kitchen table in our new home.  This is also the reason that I have not written in so long. …

Snow: Everybody Panic!

Snow; a word that incites panic and excitement. Panic for the adults and excitement for the young and young at heart.

On Friday afternoon, there was nervous office chatter about the snow and wintry weather headed our way.  If you don’t know what that means in Washington, D.C., let me illustrate a picture for you. Although it is not necessary to stock up on toilet paper and water, it is necessary to conform with all the other panic-stricken zombies who are. Go to the grocery store…
