Why I am a Bad Catholic

The other day I found myself in a heated discussion and I slipped up and said a four letter word, and it wasn’t love! To which the other person replied, “What a good Catholic!” It was meant as a jamb, said sarcastically, a way to get a rise out of me. And let me tell you, it worked! She's not making the cut and it's all my fault.

I'm going to make a small confession that I didn't even realize until a few days ago that it would even BE confession. I also realize that I'm sure in my past entries, I probably sound really neurotic. And I am. I don't argue for one second that I'm not and I do apologize for that. Although, if I ever met a mother who didn't have a slight case of neurosis I would probably immediately try to make her my BFF and emulate her entire life in an attempt to make my own a little easier. I wouldn't call… Continue
